Congress slams MP CM Shivraj Chouhan's 'bulldozer mama' posters
India Today
After successfully riding on the popularity of the 'bulldozer baba' image of Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP, it seems, is seeking to create a similar image for MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan with 'bulldozer mama' posters.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has landed in the middle of a controversy after dozens of hoardings, featuring his photo with the picture of a bulldozer in the background came up in capital Bhopal. The hoardings carry slogans like “Bahan beti ke izzat ke saath jisne kiya khilwad, bulldozer pahunchega uske dwar (Those who played with the modesty of sisters and daughters will now face bulldozers)” and "Beti ki suraksha mein jo banega rora, mama ka bulldozer banega hathora (uncle CM's bulldozer will prove to be a hammer for those who impede the security of our daughters)".

The Opposition has slammed the move, calling it a “political stunt”. “The government should do something to prevent these heinous crimes that are being committed against women and children every day instead of trying to take political mileage from such acts,” Congress spokesman Bhupendra Gupta said.
“If Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his government are actually serious, they should use the bulldozer to raze the houses of those who are caught in corruption cases almost every day. Also, the bulldozer should be used against those who swindled crores allocated for the wedding of girls,” Gupta said.
