A heart-wrenching video of a four-year-old boy appealing to his father to surrender during an ongoing encounter at Shopian in south Kashmir has left the country heartbroken. The video clip reportedly shows that the Army had apparently brought in the family members of one of the militants to try and make him surrender. “Come out. They will not harm you. Come out. I am missing you,” the four-year-old boy can be heard saying.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
