Collectors inspect kitchen at Telangana government residential schools and emphasise food safety.
Senior officers from various district administrations on Wednesday (December 11) inspected various government educational institutions and checked their kitchens, storerooms and the quality of food served to students.
The inspections comes in the wake of a series of food-poisoning cases in the past month. The government had constituted a task force to ensure food safety and develop an institutional mechanism for State-run educational institutions. It was also decided to constitute institution-level food safety committees tasked with inspecting kitchens and storerooms before any meal is cooked.

The Collector spoke to the students and participated in the daily activities along with them in the morning. Mr. Santosh impressed upon students the importance of smart work, discipline and self confidence.
