Harry Enten said there's been a "big change" among Republicans in just a matter of months.
CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten on Friday declared that there has been a “big change” showing Republicans increasingly supporting Ukraine since the start of President Donald Trump’s second term.
Enten — prior to Trump’s nothingburger of a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska — flagged a new Pew Research Center survey that found 46% of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents indicated that the U.S. doesn’t give enough support to Ukraine amid Russia’s war on the country.
That figure includes those who believe the U.S. provides the right amount or insufficient support to Ukraine.
The Pew findings mark a notable shift from February, when 47% of the same group said Ukraine gets too much support, whereas 30% indicated otherwise.
“Rarely do I see poll numbers like this,” Enten said.
