
CM visits M.K. Alagiri at his residence in Madurai

Chief Minister M.K Stalin visits brother M.K. Alagiri in Madurai, attends roadshow and party meeting before returning to Chennai.
Chief Minister M.K Stalin visited his brother M.K. Alagiri at the latter’s residence in Madurai on Saturday.
Mr. Stalin, who arrived here from Chennai in the afternoon, went on a roadshow in the city. After reaching the Circuit House, he left for Satya Sai Nagar, the residence of Mr. Alagiri.
According to supporters of Mr. Alagiri, the CM was there for about 15 to 20 minutes. Later, he stepped out of the residence and posed for photographs with former Deputy Mayor P.M. Mannan, former MLA Ghouse Batcha and others.
Later, Mr. Stalin visited Uthangudi where the party’s general council meeting is to be held on Sunday.
After an overnight halt at the Circuit House, Mr. Stalin would attend the general council meeting and proceed to Chennai by a scheduled flight by Sunday evening, officials said.
