Former Puducherry Congress MLA V. Vizeaveny joins BJP
Former Congress legislator V. Vizeaveny has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Puducherry.
Ms. Vizeaveny, who represented the reserved Nettapakkam constituency in the Puducherry Legislative Assembly during 2016-21, met Union Minister and party’s election in-charge for the Union Territory, Mansukh Mandaviya here on Monday (March 16, 2026) night.
Home Minister A. Namassivayam and BJP president V.P. Ramalingam were present when she joined the party. Earlier, former AIADMK legislator A. Bhaskar had joined the BJP in the presence of party’s national leaders.
