
CM to take call on allowing fully vaccinated people to travel on local trains: Maharashtra health minister

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the state government is of positive view on the issue of allowing fully vaccinated people to travel on local trains, adding that the same will be discussed with the CM who will take the final call.
The Maharashtra government has said that it "holds positive views" on the issue of allowing local train travel for people who have been fully vaccinated. Talking to India Today TV, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that he was aware that there was strong demand for relaxation from various quarters. "The government is positive about the issue and so am I. We will sit and discuss. The chief minister is the authority to take the final call," he said.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
