Telangana CM Revanth Reddy responds to tragic fire incident in Hyderabad, ensuring rescue efforts and medical aid for victims.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed shock over the fire incident near Gulzar Houz in Old City, Hyderabad, and instructed officials to take all necessary steps to rescue those trapped and provide medical assistance to the injured. At least 10 people were killed and several others sustained injuries in the incident happened on Sunday (May 18, 2025).

Mr. Reddy directed the police and fire departments to work swiftly to save lives and shift the injured to hospitals. He also spoke to Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, suggesting them to monitor the relief efforts.
The CM assured that all possible efforts would be made to rescue those trapped and support the affected families. He ordered the authorities to ensure better treatment for the injured and closely monitor the relief efforts.
Expressing grief over the incident, Health Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha directed senior health officials to provide better treatment to the injured. A special team of senior doctors was formed to provide constant medical care.
TPCC president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud condoled the loss of lives, stating that the government would stand by the families of the deceased. Meanwhile, Opposition leaders from both BJP and BRS expressed condolences to the family members.
Karimnagar BJP MP and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar offered his deepest condolences and assured support to the families of the victims.
