Clear approach was missing in security matters before 2014: Nirmala amid row over Manish Tewari book
India Today
In his book, Manish Tewari has said India should have acted against Pakistan after 26/11, when his party was in power.
A clear-headed approach was missing in matters of national security before 2014, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, fronting the BJP’s attack on the Congress over Manish Tewari's book.
“Decisions after 2014 have been taken with a clear-headed approach. Whether Balakot or surgical strikes. We all saw how India responded. This response was absent prior to 2014,” Nirmala Sitharaman said at an event in Jammu & Kashmir.
