Niagara police are reminding drivers to clear snow off their cars before hitting the road after a chunk of ice smashed through a windshield on the QEW.
A photo shared on Twitter by the OPP Highway Safety Division Sunday afternoon shows shattered glass with a hole punched through the middle.
"Ice flew off a commercial motor vehicle, smashing the pictured vehicles windshield," police said. "Thankfully no one was hurt."
Police say the windshield was damaged near Casablanca Boulevard in Grimsby.
