Chris Wallace calls out Buttigieg for infrastructure plan job claims

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was called out on Sunday by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace for vastly overstating the number of jobs that would be created by President Biden’s $2 trillion infrastructure package.​​

Wallace noted that Buttigieg and other administration officials touted the false numbers during appearances on the news shows last Sunday. “But it turns out the study you’re citing from, Moody’s Analytics, says the economy will add 16.3 million jobs without the infrastructure bill, and 2.7 million more with it. So it doesn’t, as you said last Sunday, create 19 million jobs,” Wallace said on “Fox News Sunday” about the “American Jobs Plan.”
