LJP MP Chirag Paswan held a press conference on Wednesday, his first interaction with the media since the split in the party founded by his father, the late Ram Vilas Paswan. During the press conference, Chirag Paswan accused the faction led by his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras of violating the party constitution. This is an "internal matter" of the party, Chirag Paswan told reporters in New Delhi on Wednesday. Describing himself as "sher ka beta" (lion's son), the 38-year-old MP from Jamui said he would fight to keep the party together.
