Chief Minister Stalin inaugurates railway over bridges, road infrastructure

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday virtually inaugurated six railway over bridges, a subway, a bridge and a grade separator in various locations across the State at a total cost of ₹310.92 crore.
The railway over bridges (ROB) have been constructed on Chennai-Ponnerikkarai-Kancheepuram Road in Kancheepuram district at ₹59.63 crore, Pollachi-Palghat Road in Coimbatore district at ₹48.48 crore, Puducherry-Krishnagiri Road in Tiruvannamalai district at ₹38.74 crore, Urappakkam Road in Chengalpattu district at ₹34.50 crore, Cuddalore-Chittoor Road in Villupuram district at ₹22.63 crore and the road linking Katpadi-Gudiyattam Road and Virinjipuram in Vellore district at ₹22.26 crore.
Mr. Stalin also virtually inaugurated a grade separator on the junction connecting Madurai-Thondi Road and the Ring Road, which has been constructed at ₹53.12 crore and also a high-level bridge across Cheyyar on Thandarai-Eraiyur Road in Tiruvannamalai district at ₹17.04 crore.
The Chief Minister also unveiled a railway subway on Nanguneri-Eruvadi-Valliyoor-Vijayapathi Road in Tirunelveli district at ₹14.52 crore.
Minister for Public Works E.V. Velu, Minister for Registration P. Moorthy and senior officials were present.
