
Chennai teen rams car into hotel gate after being denied entry to bar

After a 19-year-old boy was denied entry to the bar of a star hotel in Chennai, the teenager rammed his car into the gate of the hotel. The crash left him unconscious and police rescued him, filed a case and have initiated an investigation.
A 19-year-old teenager rammed his car into the gates of a prominent hotel in Chennai for allegedly not being allowed to drink in the hotel bar due to his age. The incident occurred on Sunday, April 3.
The teenager was furious and apparently stormed out of the hotel while yelling at the staff. He then got into the car and rammed into the hotel’s gate.
But, the vehicle’s front end got mangled and the vehicle’s wheels got stuck in the broken gate. The impact of the crash also injured the 19-year-old, leaving him unconscious.
Being a very busy area, policemen reached the spot immediately, and the perpetrator was taken to a hospital. Police were also baffled, since the car’s windshield had a sticker with the word ‘Police’ on it.
Parangimalai Police have filed a case and have initiated an investigation.
