Chennai has been declared the second greenest city for real estate in India and its global rank is 224.

Chennai has added another feather in its cap and is now the second greenest city for real estate in India. This is the second achievement of the city after the Chennai Central railway station became fully powered by solar energy.

According to a study by property consultant Knight Frank, India's national capital, Delhi, is the greenest city for real estate and ranks 63rd globally, the only Indian city in the global top 100.
