The CCTV footage of a major fire that broke out at a cracker store in Tamil Nadu's Kallakurichi in Shankarapuram district on October 26 has gone viral. Eight people were killed in the incident while several were injured.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. However, lack of safety measures is being considered to be the main reason. A bakery was in close proximity to the shop.
