
Caught on cam: Man chases, repeatedly stabs woman with sickle in Maharashtra

A video shows a woman being chased by a man and being repeatedly attacked with a sickle in Maharashtra.
A woman employee at a petrol pump was chased around and stabbed several times by a man in Maharashtra. A video of the incident shows the woman trying to escape her attacker, while the man continued to advance towards her with a sickle.
While the woman is seen trying to save her life, the staff at the petrol pump as well as onlookers are also seen trying to intervene. However, the attacker swinging the sickle seems to keep the onlookers away from intervening.

The video shows the woman running around the petrol pump and then falling to the ground. At this point, the onlookers threw a chair at the accused, who then ran away after seeing a crowd gather.
The victim, who has been identified as Zubeida Kha, is presently undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Nashik.
Based on the woman’s statement, a case has been registered at the Indira Nagar Police Station. Further investigation is underway.
