
Capt Amarinder Singh to hold press conference tomorrow, may float new party

Captain Amarinder Singh is scheduled to hold a press conference on Wednesday during which he may announce the formation of a new political party to take on the Congress in Punjab.
Former Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh is scheduled to hold a press conference at the Hotel Hyatt Regency in Chandigarh on Wednesday (October 27). The announcement was made on Twitter by Singh's media advisor Raveen Thukral.
Thukral also said that the press conference would be broadcast live on social media platforms, including Facebook.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
