
Capt Amarinder Singh to contest 2022 Punjab polls from Patiala: Report

Former Punjab CM Amarinder Singh has announced that he will be contesting the 2022 Punjab Assembly polls from Patiala.
Former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh announced that he will fight from Patiala seat in the 2022 assembly elections.
“I will fight elections from Patiala only,” he posted on his 'Punjab Da Captain' Facebook page on Saturday.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
