The Calcutta High Court on Thursday raised concerns on the security cover provided to BJP MLA and the leader of the opposition in West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari.
Expressing its displeasure, the court observed that a leader of the opposition shares the same rank as that of a cabinet minister.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
