Continuing his crusade against the Aam Aadmi Party, BJP leader Kapil Sharma has released a music video to launch a scathing attack on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal amidst charges of corruption against his ministers.
The two-minute video features Kapil Sharma singing a litany of allegations against the Kejriwal government: from rewadi (freebie) culture, pollution of the Yamuna to expenditure on advertisements.
“You even put out advertisements for construction of sewage pipes,” he said, while the visuals show reports of 4200 per cent increase in government spend on ads from 2021 to 2022.
The BJP leaders also slammed Kejriwal for using “Shakuni-like tactics” to sideline or sack dissenting leaders from AAP, while giving preference to sycophants and the corrupt. This was accompanied by a picture of the AAP chief sitting with deputy CM Manish Sisodia and jailed former minister Satyendar Jain.
“You were never fond of capable, deserving people in the party. Whoever dared to speak the truth was kicked out,” Mishra said, while citing his own exit from the AAP in 2017.
With a grin on his face, Kapil Mishra took a dig at Kejriwal over the graft allegations buffeting his government. Very soon, more AAP ministers will be but behind bars, he claimed. “Cabinet meetings will be held in Tihar jail very soon,” he jibed. Watch the video here:
