“Wheel of Fortune” star Vanna White and her partner, John Donaldson, announced on Wednesday that they’d gotten married after a long time together.
“Surprise! We got married!” White wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself in a white gown being swept off her feet by Donaldson, along with other photos of the two together.
“John and I have been in love for more than a decade, and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony,” White wrote in the caption. “We’re excited to share this new, joyful chapter in our lives with all of you! Love, Vanna and John.”
White met Donaldson, who has a construction and development company, at a barbecue in 2012, People reported. But as recently as 2023, the letter-turning game-show icon told the outlet that marriage wasn’t a priority.
