Troops of the BSF are on alert along the Indo-Bangladesh border after the police commissioner of Dhaka claimed that some radical youths were trying to sneak into India to make their way to join the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Border Security Force (BSF) troops are on alert along the Indo-Bangladesh border after the police commissioner of Dhaka claimed that some radical Bangladeshi youths were trying to sneak into India to make their way to join the Taliban in Afghanistan. "These youths are trying to reach Afghanistan somehow. Although we don't know the exact number as it has not been communicated to us," said the Police Commissioner of Dhaka, Shafikul Islam.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
