
BJP MLA’s car set on fire by unidentified miscreants in Chandigarh

A few unidentified men allegedly set fire to a BJP MLA’s car outside the MLA hostel in Chandigarh while the MLA was away in Panchkula.
Panipat MLA Parmod Vij’s car was allegedly set on fire by some unidentified miscreants. The incident took place outside the MLA Hostel in Sector 3, Chandigarh on Tuesday.
A case has been registered against the miscreants at the Sector 3 police station and the police team has started its investigation. The police believe that two people were behind this act.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
