BJP MLA attempts to drink sanitiser in Odisha Assembly over paddy procurement issue

Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Deogarh Subash Panigrahi on Friday attempted to drink sanitiser over the issue of paddy procurement from mandis.

The second phase of the budget session of Odisha Assembly witnessed a stormy start on Friday with opposition BJP and Congress disrupting the House over the issue of paddy procurement from mandis. Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Deogarh Subash Panigrahi on Friday attempted suicide inside the house during the budget session of Assembly by trying to consume sanitiser over the paddy procurement issue. Panigrahi, tried to consume sanitizer to end life when Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Co-operation Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain was replying to the House on Friday afternoon.
