Veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty was virtually questioned on Wednesday by Kolkata Police based on an FIR filed against him. Mithun was questioned for over 30 minutes starting at 10:05 am and his statement was recorded by the police. The complainant has claimed in his FIR at the Maniktala police station in Kolkata that Mithun Chakraborty had used film dialogues like "marbo ekhane, lash porbe shoshane" (I will hit you here and the body will fall in the crematorium)" and "ek chobole chhobi" (just one snakebite and you will become a photograph) during a BJP campaign rally in Kolkata ahead of the Bengal assembly elections. It has been alleged that these dialogues were a cause for post-poll violence in Bengal.More Related News
