BJP Kisan Morcha leader Mallareddy was found dead on the outskirts of Jaggaiahpet village in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district on Saturday. A police investigation has been launched.

After the BJP leader's dead body was found, DSP Nageswar Reddy rushed to the spot along with his team and launched an investigation.
Prima facie Mallareddy’s death is being considered a murder. Efforts are on to nab the perpetrators.
BJP state unit chief S Veerraju spoke to SP Sidharth Kaushal and demanded a thorough investigation and speedy arrest of those behind Mallareddy’s murder.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
