
BJP criticises Akhilesh Yadav, says he comes out only when elections are around

"Akhilesh Yadav is somebody who becomes active and comes out on the ground only when elections are around. They have no sympathy with public, they just hunt for the post," Uttar Pradesh Law Minister Brajesh Pathak told India Today TV.
Uttar Pradesh Law Minister Brajesh Pathak took potshots at Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday saying that he comes out on the ground only when elections are around. "Akhilesh Yadav is somebody who becomes active and comes out on the ground only when elections are around. They have no sympathy with public, they just hunt for the post," he told India Today TV. He said that while BJP is striving for commoners, their opposition is busy focusing on vote bank politics.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
