Bihar govt reduces VAT on petrol, diesel

The Nitish government in Bihar has reduced VAT on the prices of petrol and diesel.

After the reduction in excise duty on the prices of petrol and diesel by the central government, the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar has also reduced VAT on the prices of petrol and diesel.

Earlier on Wednesday, the central government announced a reduction in excise duty of Rs 5 and Rs 10 respectively in the prices of petrol and diesel and within a few hours of this announcement, the Nitish government in Bihar also decided to reduce VAT on the prices of petrol and diesel.
