Bihar: 16 of state's 31 ministers own either pistols, guns or rifles

Bihar's cabinet ministers own guns, pistols and rifles as revealed by the records of their assets made public.

Bihar's Cabinet ministers own various arms and ammunition despite being provided state-sponsored security. As per the latest update of assets declared by 31 ministers in the Bihar government, as many as 16 of them own guns, pistols and rifles.

According to the information made public, the state's Mines and Geology Minister Janak Ram has a rifle of 30.06 bore which costs Rs 1,25,000 and also a pistol of .32 bore which costs Rs 4,05,000.
