Biden’s latest multitrillion-dollar plan to reward Dem allies — and balloon government

President Joe Biden’s “American Families Plan” is yet another bid to reward Democratic interests with yet more cash and government and quasi-government jobs, further bloating America’s already-massive federal bureaucracy and nanny state.
The mammoth $1.8 trillion spending splurge unveiled Wednesday builds on his $2.3 trillion “infrastructure” proposal and the $1.9 trillion “relief” package he already rammed through Congress. That’s a total of $6 trillion in brand-new spending rolled out in his first 100 days — very little of it focused on helping the country recover, and most of it targeted to remaking the nation to match Democrats’ partisan dreams. The new outlays amount to more than what the entire US government spends in a year and would add to a budget that’s already the largest (as a share of US GDP) since World War II.More Related News
