Biden lays wreath at Tomb of the Unknown Solider during Memorial Day ceremony
NY Post
President Biden presented a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Monday, his first Memorial Day as commander-in-chief that he marked as a “rite of remembrance” for Americans in an address moments later.
Dressed in a dark blue suit and a blue-and-white striped tie, the president was unmasked as he paused at the wreath placed before the tomb at Arlington National Cemetery, bowed his head and made the sign of the cross for Americans who died in service to the country. Biden then returned to where Vice President Kamala Harris and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stood, and he saluted as they placed their hands over their chests as a band played Taps.More Related News
