Bharat Dynamics Ltd has joined hands with European arms manufacturer MBDA to establish a facility for final assembly, integration and testing of advanced short range air-to-air missiles in India.
Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has joined hands with European multinational arms manufacturer MBDA to establish a facility for final assembly, integration and testing (FAIT) of advanced short range air-to-air missiles (ASRAAM) in India. BDL and MBDA signed licence agreement today to setup facility at BDL for Final Assy, Integration & Test of 'Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles'.The agreement reinforces BDL's commitment to take forward #MakeinIndia initiative.@DefProdnIndia @drajaykumar_ias @IAF_MCC pic.twitter.com/qVpLPA8MXi The new facility will also have the potential to conduct maintenance, repair and overhaul operations of ASRAAMs.
