A rep for Sanders (I-Vt.) confirmed his plans, first reported by the Washington Post, to The Post on Thursday morning. “At a moment when US-made bombs are devastating Gaza, and killing women and children, we cannot simply let another huge arms sale go through without even a Congressional debate,” the Senate Budget Committee chairman said in a statement.
