
Bengaluru: Woman hacked to death in front of son allegedly by ex-husband

The car of a 42-year-old woman was stopped at the Hosa Road signal by unknown individuals and she was stabbed to death.
In a gruesome incident reported from Bengaluru, a 42-year-old woman was hacked to death on the outskirts of the city in front of her son by her estranged ex-husband over an alleged land dispute.
According to the reports by Electronic City area Police, the incident occurred on Monday night around 10:30 pm when the woman, identified as Archana Reddy was returning home with her son and driver after casting her vote at the Anekal gram panchayat poll.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
