The Karnataka Government has modified some of its Covid-19 orders for the weekend curfew and has allowed colleges in Bengaluru Urban to hold offline classes.
As daily reported cases of coronavirus across the country continue to rise, various state and local authorities have begun strengthening the already imposed restrictions in place.In Karnataka, a gradual increase in the number of cases has been observed. The Silicon Valley of India, recorded over 5,000 cases in the succession of two days. Of this total number, 4,324 alone were reported from Bengaluru Urban, in the last 24 hours.
With currently active cases at 22,173 local authorities have issued newer guidelines for the weekend curfew. In the new orders issued by the Chief Secretary and Chairman of the State Executive Committee, P Ravikumar, engineering colleges in Bengaluru Urban are now allowed to hold offline classes.
