
Bengaluru police arrest kingpin of hashish oil supply, recover 15 kg of drug

The city police have busted one of the kingpins of the supply of hashish oil, a cannabis concentrate, in the city and recovered 15 kg of the drug. This is the largest haul of this particular narcotic in the State till date. Nabaran Chakma, 31, a BCA dropout hailing from Assam, was arrested at a flat in Hennur on Friday morning. After more-than-two-year wait, the flyover at Goripalayam junction will be commissioned on Saturday. As of now, the main arm of the new flyover, named after freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, will help to decongest vehicular movement from Tamukkam junction till Nelpettai junction on East Veli Street.
