
Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee talks on Tripura violence, BSF jurisdiction in meet with PM Narendra Modi

Apart from speaking about the violence in Tripura and the issue of BSF jurisdiction in Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the state is yet to get Rs 96,605 crore for calamities in the state.
In a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee discussed the violence in Tripura and the issue of BSF jurisdiction in Bengal.
"I have spoken about Tripura violence, informed the Prime Minister about what’s happening there and how Saayoni was targeted," said Mamata Banerjee.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
