Bareilly man found hanging from tree, family says killed over affair with girl from another faith

A man was found hanging from a tree in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly on Saturday. His family alleged that the man was killed over a love affair with a girl from another faith.
A body of a young man was found hanging from a tree in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly on Saturday. The deceased, identified as Sunil Kumar, was allegedly killed over a love affair, according to his family.
Sunil Kumar's kin allege that he was killed by members of Muslim community in the area for having an affair with a girl from their community.
They further claimed that Sunil Kumar was murdered and his body was hanged from a tree to make it a case of suicide.
Earlier, Sunil Kumar was threatened by the members of the girl's family, following which a consensus was reached. Both families agreed that the man and the girl will not meet ever again.
A few months later, Sunil Kumar's body was found hanging from a tree.
After receiving the information about the alleged murder, the police have recovered the body and sent it for a post-mortem.
A case of murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the members of Muslim community in the area.
