Bareilly cousins Sajid-Wajid arrested for drug trafficking in Delhi, heroin worth Rs 2 crore seized

The Narcotics Cell of the Delhi Crime Branch arrested two Bareilly-based cousins, Sajid and Wajid Khan, for drug trafficking on July 13. One kilogram of heroin worth Rs 2 crore was seized.

The Narcotics Cell of the Delhi Crime Branch busted a clandestine heroin supply chain active in Ghazipur in Delhi and Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh after arresting two Bareilly-based cousins Sajid and Wajid Khan on July 13. The Narcotics Cell team recovered one kilogram of heroin worth Rs 2 crore from the two drug suppliers’ possession. On July 13, the Narcotics Cell received secret information that Sajid and Wajid, involved in heroin trade, would be coming near Ghazipur Shamshan Ghat in Delhi to supply heroin to someone.
