Abducted twice in two months, a two-month-old boy will be provided round-the-clock police protection in Gandhinagar's Adalaj. The baby is probably the youngest person in Gujarat to be given 24x7 police protection. The baby's ragpicker parents live in a slum. He was first abducted from Gandhinagar Civil Hospital in Banaskantha by Jignesh and Asmita Bharti in April when he was just two days old. The police had then rescued him within a week. The boy was again abducted by a childless couple -- Dinesh and Sudha Katara -- from Banaswada on June 5. Dinesh kidnapped the child when he saw his mother keeping her child in a makeshift cradle on her bicycle while she collected waste.More Related News
