Doha, Qatar: The security threat in Qatar has been eliminated, according to the latest National Emergency Alert sent to the public around 2:30pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
"The security threat has been eliminated and the situation has returned to normal," it stated.
Authorities also urged the public to comply with instructions issued by authorities, particularly the Ministry of Interior.
No further official statements have been issued by authorities as of the time of publishing this report.
Earlier this afternoon, Qatar was subjected to a missile attack that was intercepted by the country's air defense systems. The incident also prompted a National Emergency Alert calling on all individuals to stay indoors, warning that the security threat level was elevated.
