Doha, Qatar: The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a telephone call today from His Majesty King Philippe of the friendly Kingdom of Belgium.

At the beginning of the call, His Majesty the King inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar, expressing his country’s solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people in the face of the brutal Iranian aggression, condemning the military actions that threaten the security and stability of the region, and affirming the support of the Kingdom of Belgium for the State of Qatar in taking all measures that would preserve its security and stability, and its readiness to provide the necessary support in this regard.

During the call, the most prominent regional and international developments of common interest were also reviewed, with both sides stressing the importance of reducing escalation and intensifying diplomatic efforts to resolve disputes peacefully, in order to enhance regional security and stability and preserve the interests of the peoples of the region.
