Assam police detain 6 juveniles for 'asking Hindus to leave' Christmas event in Silchar

Six minors were detained by Assam police in connection with the ruckus created in the Silchar town during Christmas celebration.

Police in the Cachar district of Assam detained six minors in connection with the ruckus created in the Silchar town during Christmas celebration.

The Cachar district police had earlier detained two people in connection with the incident. Superintendent of Police (SP) Ramandeep Kaur said that four more minors were detained on Tuesday night.
