Assam Police arrests 10 persons in connection with APDCL’s job scam

Assam Police arrested 10 persons who allegedly took cash from applicants by promising to qualify them in the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited's (APDCL) job entrance exam. 

The police arrested 10 persons in connection with a 2019 job scam at the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL). The nabbed persons were accused of taking cash from applicants by promising to qualify them in the entrance exam.

Assam chief minister’s Special Vigilance Cell and Guwahati Police jointly carried the operation and arrested 10 people, including an officer on special duty (OSD). Five teams of the CM’s Special Vigilance Cell and Guwahati Police conducted raids in many areas.
