As Assam gears up to celebrate the harvest festival of Magh Bihu, a unique Bhelaghar with a theme of Covid-19 pandemic and vaccination has become a prime attraction for the people.
Assam is all set to celebrate the harvest festival of Magh Bihu, also known as Bhogali Bihu, amidst the chilly weather conditions and Covid-19 pandemic.
While the third wave of Covid-19 continues to hit India and other parts of the world and the government is appealing to the people to take Covid-19 vaccines to fight against the deadly virus, a structure traditionally known as 'Bhelaghor' in Assam has become a prime attraction for many people. This unique structure at Aamonikhali village is getting quite popular on social media too.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
