The Assam government on Tuesday extended the ongoing Covid-19 restriction till June 22, easing certain curbs in some districts. The order issued by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) and signed by chief secretary Jishnu Barua listed a new set of guidelines, which will be in force from 5 am on June 16 till 5 am on June 22. "The situation of Covid-19 in the State has been reviewed and observed that, though the number of Covid-19 patients and positivity rate is declining in some districts, the overall situation is still precarious," it said.More Related News
