Assam CM Himanta Sarma to meet 150 intellectuals, leaders of Muslim community over population policy issue

At Sunday's meeting, Himanta Biswa Sarma is expected to hold discussions with leaders of the Muslim community on the senstitive issue of population control among the minority community.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday will hold a meeting with around 150 intellectuals and leaders of the Muslim community to discuss the population policy issue in the state. The meeting will be held at Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati, Assam. On Friday, hoardings were also put up across Guwahati, informing about Himanta Biswa Sarma's meet with intellectuals and leaders on Sunday.
