Assam CM dedicates 80 ICU beds at Silchar Medical College and Hospital at Cachar district

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday dedicated 80 ICU beds at SMCH, saying that the state government has brought about "massive infrastructural development of the health facilities".

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma dedicated 80 ICU beds, including 40 paediatric beds, at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) in Cachar district on Saturday.

During his two-day visit to the Barak valley, the Assam chief minister also took stock of the progress of the construction work of the 500-bedded hospital at the SMCH premises.
