
Asansol election: Agnimitra Paul attacked at polling booth, alleges BJP

The BJP has alleged that its candidate for the Asansol Assembly bypoll, Agnimitra Paul, was attacked and the cars of its leaders were pelted with stones.
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday, April 12, alleged that its candidate for the Asansol Assembly bypoll, Agnimitra Paul, was attacked by TMC workers. The party also accused Trinamool Congress workers of pelting stones at the cars of its leaders.
"TMC workers thrashed our security personnel with bamboo sticks. No matter how hard Mamata Banerjee tries, BJP will here [Asansol], Agnimitra Paul said.
